REGIONAL FLOORING EXPERIENCE
Concrete Systems for a Diverse Working Region
The Cowichan Valley extends well beyond a single urban centre. Its commercial and industrial properties include wineries, cideries, breweries, distilleries, farms, food producers, workshops, warehouses, marine and automotive service facilities, retail businesses and tourism-oriented properties.
These operations place very different demands on their concrete. A beverage-production floor may need to tolerate moisture, organic acids, washdowns and seasonal production. A warehouse or fabrication shop may be more concerned with equipment traffic, abrasion and impact. A tasting room, retail space or showroom needs durability while maintaining a professional appearance.
Topseal has served Vancouver Island since 2013 and brings more than 20 years of concrete finishing experience to commercial, industrial and residential flooring projects. Service is available throughout the Cowichan Valley, from South Cowichan and Cowichan Bay through North Cowichan, Chemainus, Crofton and the Cowichan Lake area.
Every project begins with the concrete and the way the property operates. Moisture, contamination, drainage, traffic, chemical exposure, cleaning, exterior exposure and available shutdown time all help determine which preparation method and flooring system should be considered.
Projects may require more than a finished coating. Existing concrete can require grinding, shot blasting, coating removal, crack or joint repair, moisture mitigation, levelling, sloping or resurfacing before the selected system is installed.
