Stamped concrete is purchased as much for its ‘look’ as for its durability; however without regular sealing your floor using a “high solid” acrylic, the harsh Canadian weather will destroy the finish which really defeats the purpose of having stamped concrete installed in the first place. For all its beauty and durability, without proper maintenance using a high quality sealer that is concrete specific, stamped concrete floors will deteriorate and then the product actually becomes an eyesore.

Sealing of stamped concrete cannot take place if the temperature is very high (over 35C), the UV index is very high or if there is high humidity.
